Dr. Joyce Mills and her eight-year old acting assistant Carley, demonstrates approaches and theories inherent in the StoryPlay® model of therapy.
This culturally sensitive and multi-sensory model utilizes metaphors, storytelling, expressive arts, and play,
along with the principles of Ericksonian hypnotherapy and Indigenous teachings for healing and well-being. Along with introducing viewers to the StoryPlay®
Center, this DVD will show Carley using the Inner Resource Drawing technique to deal with a bad dream.
Indirect suggestion will be utilized by Dr. Mills to enhance Carley's sense of empowerment and self-esteem.
