Join us for a unique 3 day (maximum 15 APT approved contact hours) training retreat nestled in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon, where you will reconnect to the magic of your work while at the same time rejuvenate and reawaken the creative spirit within. Come and pamper yourself in the peaceful pines of Sedona while experiencing the spirit and power of play and its application to your work.

Fee: $395 (Enrollment limited to 8 to 20 participants) This fee includes: tuition, materials, breakfast and snacks.
Cancellation: There is a $50.00 cancellation fee for all cancellations prior to March 31th. There are no refunds after March 31th.

*The Center for Positive Regard (CPR) and The StoryPlay Center (SPC) are approved by the Association for Play Therapy to offer continuing education specific to play therapy. CPR©'s provider # is 01-104. CPR and SPC maintain responsibility for this program.

Known for her dynamic, playful, and inspirational style, Dr. Joyce C. Mills, is an internationally recognized storyteller, keynote presenter, workshop leader, and consultant, for health-care, psychological, educational, and community organizations. Founder and Executive Director of The StoryPlay? Center, Dr. Mills is the recipient of the 1997 Play Therapy International award for an outstanding career contribution to the field of Play and Child Psychology. A licensed/certified Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, Dr. Mills is the author and co-author of seven books, including the award-winning Therapeutic Metaphors for Children and the Child Within. Dr. Mills serves on the Board of Directors of the Turtle Island Project, a non-profit organization based in Phoenix, for which she co-leads with Native American spiritual and educational leaders, healing retreats for women.
Teri V. Krull, CISW, is a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, credentialed since 1992. She©–s served on the national Board of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) since 10/96 and acted, as President in 99/2000. She was a founding spirit of AZAPT and served as President in their first year of operation. She is also the Director of the Center for Positive Regard, an organization that provides supervision and training in play therapy. Ms. Krull has lectured nationally on topics related to play therapy and has been an instructor in Play Therapy and Child and Adolescent Assessment at ASU. Ms. Krull is in private practice in Chandler, Arizona. She has specialized in the treatment of children for over 17 years.
